Strathpine State School

Our school is a Prep-Year 6 campus located just north of Brisbane, in the Pine Rivers District and Moreton Bay Region, in Queensland.  Our campus is situated in an ideal location, as our fences border those of Pine Rivers State High School.  Our school has approximately 443 students who are supported and guided by an excellent school community committed to providing the best educational opportunities for all our students.

Our school has a dedicated, caring and highly passionate staff who plan exciting and stimulating activities for our students. As a result of this we have gained an excellent reputation in the wider community.  Our staff go above and beyond to provide a wide range of extracurricular activities that allow for success and development for all students in a variety of learning opportunities.  Our students have individualised learning goals that they strive to achieve.  They are dynamic learners who are actively involved in their own learning and take responsibility for their education.  Our school welcomes all students and their families. We value diversity and embrace the idea that we all share responsibility for each other, our learning and our community. Our success is based on how we work together.  Our staff focus on the skills and abilities of each student, building on their current knowledge and understanding and celebrate with the student and their classes' progress and demonstrations of learning.

Our school, and families, have a unique and fascinating history that has been evolving for over 115 years.  From the school's beginning from 1911, the campus has moved and developed so that it now boasts a sporting/performing arts hall, two computer labs, science centre, a languages classroom, an inviting library that includes a green screen and two massive ovals for the wide variety of sports and activities on offer.
